Lil Wayne has talked up retiring a few times over the course of his successful career. Last Friday (May 3) at the launch party of his collaborative SPECTRE shoe line with SUPRA in Miami, the Young Money captain says fans can expect more music in the near future.

MTV News caught up with Wayne at the party, and the New Orleans native wasted no time in dropping a few bombshells. After saying he would retire after his upcoming Tha Carter V album, Wayne scrapped the earlier plans and intends to have a busy 2013.

“It should be a lot between now,” said Wayne, referencing the period of time between now and the release of his 11^th studio album. “Carter V should…I don't wanna give it no [date] but yeah, it's no time soon.”

Weezy also speaks on an unexpected pairing with Drake and a pair of veteran Cash Money artists. After being asked about a possible follow up to him and Birdman's album, Like Father, Like Son, Wayne mentioned that Drizzy may join Birdman and Manny Fresh for a Big Tymers project.

“That kid is so busy, it's all kind of possibilities,” added Wayne. Also in the interview, the budding shoe designer spoke on NBA player Jason Collins and his recent decision to come out.

New details are emerging about Lil Wayne's 2013 America's Most Wanted Music Festival. After announcing Future and T.I. as the Mountain Dew sponsored tour's featured guests, today we get a list of its scheduled date.

As Weezy said himself when he told the world he was doing "better than good" after an almost week long hospital stay, the 40-date AMW Music Festival kicks off July 5 in Alabama. It will then hit cities like Atlanta (Lakewood Ampitheatre), Philadelphia (Susquehanna Bank Center), Houston (CWM Pavilion) and Denver (Fiddler's Green) before concluding on September 1 in Irvine, Calif. The "How To Love" rapper still won't be finished, though. In October he plans to go on a European tour accompanied by Mac Miller.

Tunechi's latest venture on the road has big shoes to fill. According to a press release, the 2009 Young Money Presents: America's Most Wanted Music Festival grossed about $42 million with almost 804,000 fans attending. For 2013, the Young Money rapper will be performing with a full live band and plans to use pyrotechnics and elaborate lighting and stage design for an unforgettable show. Also, more performers besides T.I. and Future, who will be at all the dates, will be revealed at a later time.

Lil Wayne's new album, I Am Not A Human Being 2, is in stores tomorrow. Tickets for the America's Most Wanted Music Festival will be available via Live Nation starting in April. Check out all the dates below.

You never know exactly who is going be the next to sign to Young Money, but the latest pick-up should not come as a surprise to many.Reginae Carter, Lil Wayne's daughter and former member of the OMG Girlz has signed to Young Money Entertainment. The 14-year-old singer will now share the same label as her famous father who founded the label.

“Wayne's daughter, Reginae, is actually signed to Young Money now,” Young Money president Mack Maine told Rap-Up TV on the red carpet at Cash Money's Pre-Grammy Party. “Just expect greatness. She's Toya [Wright's] daughter and Wayne's daughter, so that's a great combination. She's a megastar.”

Some of the label's latest signees that Maine also mentioned were  PJ Morton, Torion Sellers, and the teen group We the Future aka. W.T.F. “Right now, I'm trying to get the Young Money young'ns going,” said Mack.

YMCMB currently boasts some of the most successful acts in music including Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, and DJ Khaled's We The Best record label, however many of the labels other artists have yet to lift off.

Lil Twist, Lil Chuckee, Gudda Gudda, Jae Millz, Bow Wow and more are only a few of the artists signed to the label who have yet to release an album as a member of YMCMB. Check out the full interview with Mack Maine down after the jump.

Today is Cash Money CEO Bryan "Birdman" Williams' 44th birthday. The businessman, rapper and trendsetter is responsible for making a significant imprint on the culture.

Was it through running one of the most successful record labels in Hip-Hop history? Was it being one of the most influential people in the history of the New Orleans music scene? Was it signing Lil' Wayne Drake and Nicki Minaj? Of course, not.

What we will all remember Birdman for is introducing the immortal "Birdman Handrub" into the game. The international sign of scheming and getting money has been attributed to the #1 Stunna.

"So many people ask me about it but honestly I don't know. s**t just became a habit," Birdman told Complex last year when explaining the gesture. "But my palms do itch a lot, I swear they do. So I got tired of scratching them and just went to rubbing my hands. They itch a lot, man. So I just got tired of scratching them and just went to rubbing my hands. But it just became a habit and it's like I'm known for the s**t. I'm like “Damn, I'm doing this s**t that much that people are recognizing it? But then I found myself doing it so now I'm like, f**k it, I'm going to keep doing it."
