Ohio Woman Takes #Prisonbae Mugshot, Complete Opposite Of Jeremy Meeks [Photo]

July 15, 2014 in News by Trent Clark

The hunt for viral mugshots have increased since the unexpected superstardom on Jeremy Meeks, but Angela Green’s jailhouse photo-pp following her arrest for refusing to leave a hotel room had quite the opposite effect.

Green, 34, of Cleveland, OH, took a rather unflattering mugshot photo after she remained uncooperative with the authorities who took her and male companion into custody.

Via Wickliffe Police Department:

On Saturday, 07/12/14, at approx. 1206 hrs., the management of the Quality Inn, 28600 Euclid, called the police department requesting assistance for guests who refused to leave. Responding officers found that a male and female had rented a room the previous evening and were to have checked out by 1100 and now would not leave.

Officers knocked on room 253 and the door was answered by a male and female. The officer explained that they needed to leave or rent the room for another day and the female became loud and uncooperative.

The officer identified the male, 24 year old Brian Baker of Cleveland, and attempted to identify the female; however, as the couple was being escorted from the building it was discovered that she had provided fictitious information. Once outside, the female continued to become loud and uncooperative and refused to identify herself.

After a brief struggle the female was arrested and transported to the WPD. The female was identified as, Angela Green, a 34 year old Cleveland resident. Green was charged with obstructing official business and eventually released on $354 cash bond.

Hit the flip to seen Angela’s ridiculous mugshot in full. Pucker up.

Indiana Man Caught Speeding In Ohio Had 48 Bombs In His Car [VIDEO]

January 9, 2014 in News by D.L. Chandler

An Indiana man caught speeding on New Year's Day in Ohio may have been trying to ring in 2014 in an entirely different fashion than most. After a police officer pulled over Andrew Scott Boguslawski for the moving violation, 48 bombs and a collection of weapons were later found.

Boguslawski, 43, got special attention from the officer just outside of the city of Columbus on Interstate 70 after noticing a curious bumper sticker that read, “If you can read this, you're in range.” From there, it all went downhill for Boguslawski after he told the cop he didn't have weapons in the car although a handle of a gun was protruding between his knees. The Madison Press has more.

From the Madison Press:

An Indiana man is in the Tri-County Regional Jail on a $1 million bond following his arrest with four guns and nearly 50 bombs.

Andrew Scott Boguslawski, 43, of Morris Hill, Ind., is being held, charged with one count of illegal manufacture or processing explosives, a felony of the second degree. He is set for a preliminary hearing Friday, Jan 10.

“I think there is a significant risk to the public,” said Assistant Madison County Prosecutor Nick Adkins, explaining the million dollar bond. “Until we can sort through the facts of this case and what we have here and what his intent was, it is necessary to keep the public safe.”

It was 11:40 at night when Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper William Davis clocked Boguslawski doing 85 in a 70 MPH zone. After asking about weapons and noticing the firearm, Officer Davis held Boguslawski until backup came. Investigators then found two handguns, two rifles, plans of a building and other materials along with the 48 bombs. Cops also seized a laptop, a GPS system and a camera.

What makes this case even stranger is that Boguslawski works in Indiana at a training facility for Navy Seals, but apparently has not made a formal statement about his plans with the explosives or why he was in Ohio. The prosecutor in the case says Boguslawski doesn't have a criminal history.

Get It In Ohio: Woman Stabs Sister Over Apple Fritters On Christmas

December 27, 2013 in News by Alvin Aqua Blanco

A woman in Akron, Ohio made clear that her Christmas spirit ends at apple fritters. Contisha Q. Hayes, 21, stabbed her sister,  Tamara D. Delaney, 21, in the chest on Christmas night after getting into a fight.

Reports the Akron Beacon:

One sister is hospitalized and another is in jail after an argument over apple fritters ended in a stabbing. Akron police say they were called to the 900 block of Springdale Street around 11:30 p.m. Christmas night for a reported stabbing.

Investigators say one sister was in the kitchen making apple fritters when two other sisters “started to play fight” over the treat.

At one point, police say, one sister pulled the hair of the other sister.

The sister whose hair was pulled, Contisha Q. Hayes, pulled out a knife and stabbed her sister, Tamara D. Delaney, 21, in the chest.

Delaney was taken to Akron City Hospital for treatment of what authorities say was nonlife-threatening injuries.

Hayes, who was taken to Summit County Jail, was charged with felonious assault and not believing in the spirit of the Holidays.

Yeah, we totally made that second charge up. Check out Hayes' mugshot on the flip.

Ohio Cops Make $3.75 Million Marijuana Bust [PHOTOS]

November 26, 2013 in News by D.L. Chandler

In an elaborate undercover operation, authorities in Ohio seized nearly $4 million in marijuana shipped from medical dispensaries in California, Colorado, and Oregon. Along with the leaf itself, candies, drinks and brownies laced with the potent drug were also part of the haul.

According to the reports of several outlets, the Warren County Drug Task Force, Ohio State Highway Patrol and other officials worked in tandem across three Ohio counties to shut down the shipment of edible pot and weed. Warren, Montgomery and Drake counties were the areas the operation took place, taking down Bradley O'Neal, 26, and Casey Oakes, 27, with several other indictments to come.

O'Neal and Oakes purchased 100 pounds of marijuana for $180,000 in Warren County from undercover officers, resulting in cops establishing six search warrants across Montgomery and Drake counties. Each pound has a street value close to $5,000, said task force Commander John J. Burke.

The bust yielded an array of edible marijuana-laced items such as brownies, candies and drinks. Ohio has been dealing with an uptick in these manner of busts for the past year, which seems to have a connection with medical marijuana centers found on the West Coast.

Also on the national radar recently was the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's seizure last week of a truck that was supposed to be carrying Mexican squash into lower Texas but instead was hiding pounds of marijuana with a street value of $10.1 million.

The Warren County Drug Task Force press release can be read here.

Adam “Pacman” Jones Found Not Guilty In Woman Punching Case

October 9, 2013 in News by Alvin Aqua Blanco

The NFL's Adam "Pacman" Jones has ducked some trouble, this time. After claiming self-defense, the cornerback was found not guilty of punching a woman outside of a Cincinnati bar called Tin Roof back in June 2013.

TMZ reports:

A judge ruled in Jones' favor in the misdemeanor assault case stemming from the June 5 incident ... where he appeared to punch, or at least slap, the alleged victim as she stood in an outdoor area of the club.

But the attorney for the Cincinnati Bengals cornerback argued Jones was only acting in self-defense because the woman had hit him with a beer bottle.

The surveillance video clearly shows her making the first move -- and although prosecutors claimed Jones started everything by calling the woman and her friends "fat and ugly" ... that wasn't enough to convict.

Translation -- the judge told the woman to follow 3rd grade rules: Sticks and stones ...

Pacman Jones clearly has experience choosing great lawyers to represent him. He still hit a woman, though. Just saying.

Cleveland Kidnapper Ariel Castro Says He’s “Not A Monster”

August 1, 2013 in News by Latifah Muhammad (@TheLatifah)

Ariel Castro had a rambling appearance in an Ohio courtroom Thursday (Aug. 1), where he denied being a "monster" and claimed to have a sex addiction. Castro previously struck a deal to evade the death penalty and pleaded his case in front of a judge and one of his victims, Michelle Knight, who also addressed the court.

Having already admitted guilt to 932 charges -- including rape and aggravated murder --Castro said the environment inside his home was nothing short of "harmony." He shunned reports of  torture, abuse, and rape. "I'm not a monster. I'm just sick. I have an addiction, just like an alcoholic has an addiction," Castor said.  "God as my witness, I never beat these women like they're trying to say that I did. I never tortured them.

"I'm truly sorry for what happened."

Knight, who spoke ahead of her capture, painted a much different picture than the harmonious existence the defendant touted in court. "I cried every night I was alone," she said of the 11 years she was held captive. The now 32-year-old was repeatedly abused by Castro, most notably when he got her pregnant five separate times. She was punched in the stomach until she miscarried.

For Knight, the "most traumatic" day in the house was Christmas. "Nobody should have to go through what I went through."

Castro told all three women (Knight, Gina DeJesus, and Amanda Berry) that their families had moved on. Knight thought she would never see her son again, who was an infant at the time.

As has been reported, the women forged a close bond. In her statement Knight called her relationship with DeJesus the "only thing" good to come out of the ordeal. "We said we would make it our alive and we did.”

DeJesus was a friend of Castro's daughter who had no idea she was being held in the house. The women were rescued after neighbor Charles Ramsey found Berry trying to kick her way to freedom, and called authorities.

Judge Michael Russo spared no feelings when addressing Castro, calling him a "narcissist" and a "predator," and vastly disputing his assertion of being a good person. "You don't deserve to be out in our community," Russo said. "You're too dangerous."

Russo sentenced the 53-year-old to life in prison, plus 1,000 years.

Ohio Kidnapping Hero Charles Ramsey Is Now Broke & Homeless [VIDEO]

July 16, 2013 in News by Latifah Muhammad (@TheLatifah)

It wasn't even three months ago that Charles Ramsey was the toast of Ohio for inadvertantly rescuing three kidnapped women.

Today he's homeless and broke.

Ramsey said that he's been forced out of his area by neighbors who think he exaggerated his role in the rescue, leaving him with no place to live, made worse by his struggle pockets. "I'm broke bro," he said."That's the truth."

The UK Daily Mail reports:

In his first interview since the days after the women escaped Castro's dungeon, Charles Ramsey told MailOnline: ‘I'm broke bro, and that's the truth' and said that he is homeless because no landlord wants the hassle of taking him in.
He claims he can't hold down a job because of the attention he receives. He said when he worked in a kitchen so many customers would barge in to shake his hand that he was fired.

It hasn't all been bad thought. The Mail found out that Ramsey is taken care of:

Sources tell MailOnline, however, that Ramsey's income in the two months since the girls escaped is around $30,000, including fees from lucrative corporate speaking engagements and $15,000 donated by well-wishers. He has been booked in for another four speaking slots and can expect his earnings to reach $50,000.
He has bought an $8,000 BMW, bragged about being rich and started a business selling T-shirts with his face on them for $25 each.
But Ramsey's former neighbors claim he exaggerated his role in the rescue of the girls.

Ramsey, 45, became an overnight celebrity in May when he claimed to have helped save Amanda Berry by prying open the door to the home in Cleveland, Ohio where she was being held when she banged on it for help.
When police arrived they discovered Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight inside as well.

Ramsey's expletive-ridden 911 call and his colorful account of setting aside his McDonald's meal to help went viral, while a CNN interview he gave was turned into a song by the Gregory Brothers called ‘Dead Giveaway.'

Landlords won't take him out of fear of the attention that comes along with the residency, and the same can be said for employers. "I don't have an address, I don't live anywhere," said the 43-year-old. "I go from house to house, to friend to friend, to family member to family member,' he said. ‘What I've been doing for the past four weeks is wearing out my welcome with everybody who knows me. "

Notoriety turned into a curse for Ramsey especially in the face of people looking to cash in on his Internet fame. From the fake Facebook page ( which had more than 10,000 followers before his lawyer stepped in) to the  company that made a video game where a character throws Big Mac's at kidnapping suspect Ariel Castro-- the unassuming hero has seen it all. Despite legal efforts, the 43-year-old wasn't able to stop the video game from being sold, but was offered  an endless supply of hamburgers in exchange for his likeness.

Cleveland Kidnapping Suspect Ariel Castro Pleads Not Guilty

June 13, 2013 in News by Latifah Muhammad (@TheLatifah)

Ariel Castro, the Ohio man accused of holding three women captive for over a decade, pleaded not guilty to various charges Wednesday (June 12). Castro was arraigned on 329 counts of torture, r@pe, and murder, the latter for allegedly forcing one of the women to miscarry five different times.

Castro stood in an orange jump shoot with his head down as an attorney entered the plea.

Craig Weintraub, Castro's lawyer alluded to a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. Weintraub acknowledged that "certain charges in the indictment cannot be disputed," but that the goal was to avoid a trial deemed "unnecessary."

The indictment was handed down Friday (June 10). Castro faces 177 counts for kidnapping,139 counts of r@pe,  seven counts of s-xual imposition, three counts of felonious assault, and a single count of possession of criminal tools.

Each count stems from offenses between the years of 2002 to 2007, additional charges could be added for the time period up until his arrest. "Mr. Castro currently faces hundreds of years in prison with the current charges," Weintraub said. "It is our hope that we can continue to work toward a resolution to avoid having an unnecessary trial about aggravated murder and the death penalty."

Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight were allegedly abducted by  the 52-year-old as teenagers. The women were found after neighbor Charles Ramsey  heard Berry's cries. Knight told authorities that while pregnant by Castro she was punched in the stomach, and starved until the point of miscarriage.

Berry bore a child with the suspected criminal, a 6-year-old daughter also removed from the home.

U.S. Army Sergeant Will Plead Guilty To Murdering 16 In Afghanistan, Avoids Death Penalty

May 30, 2013 in News by Latifah Muhammad (@TheLatifah)

Robert Bales, the U.S. Army sergeant accused in an Afghani shooting massacre will plead guilty to escape the death penalty, his lawyer said Wednesday (May 29). Bales is charged with killing 16 while serving in Afghanistan.

The stage sergeant's killing spree is among the most bloody in a single-soldier attack. Attorney John Henry Browne says Bales is expected to plead guilty to premeditated murder June 5 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord just south of Seattle. "The judge will be asking questions of Sgt. Bales about what he did, what he remembers and his state of mind," Browne explained.

Bales was allegedly drunk, snorted Valium, and took steroids before sneaking off from Camp Belambay on March 11, 2012. The father of two slaughtered  the innocent victims, and initially prepped an insanity defense, but doctors were unable to confirm any form of mental illness. "His mental state does not rise to the level of a legal insanity defense," Browne said. "But his state of mind will be very important at the trial in September.

The majority of the Ohio native's victims were women and children.
