Low Down Love: 15 Rap Stars Who Got Caught Cheating [PHOTOS]

June 13, 2013 in News by D.L. Chandler

In the fame game, it is almost expected that a big time entertainer will be accused of stepping out on their wives and girlfriends at least once. Add social media and its snitching ways to the mix, and you have a recipe for public relations disasters.

Kanye West was the latest star to get accused of philandering, although he claims French-Canadian model Leyla Ghohbadi is only out for selfish publicity. Still, Yeezy wouldn't be the first rapper—and won't be the last—to get caught out there dipping his hands in a different cookie jar if the allegations hold true.

Hip-Hop Wired takes a look back at 15 rappers and celebrities who have been caught cheating, allegedly and otherwise, over the years on the following pages.

All The Hot 97 Summer Jam XX Performances [VIDEO]

June 3, 2013 in News by Alvin aqua Blanco (@aqua174)

Last night's 20th anniversary Summer Jam was a success, even with Papoose's successful attempt of Bogarting his way onto the stage. The line up of both old school and mostly new school acts made for a nice party atmosphere with stand out sets from Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz and French Montana

Joe Budden opened the show, followed in order by Miguel, Wale, Chris Brown, Fabolous, Wu-Tang Clan, 2 Chainz, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and French Montana. Oh yeah, Pap hit the stage shortly after Kendrick's set, much to just about everyone in the crowd's surprise and befuddlement.

The special guests were frequent, from Miguel bringing out J. Cole and Mariah Carey to Fabolous introducing Lil Kim on down to A$AP Rocky bringing out Bone Thugs & Harmony, who he cites as one of his big influences.

Check out videos of all the performances in the following pages.

Fabolous ft. 2 Chainz – “When I Feel Like It” [LISTEN]

May 30, 2013 in News by Alvin aqua Blanco (@aqua174)

Apparently, Fabolous does not discriminate against fake cakes. More on that later. The Bed-Stuy rapper drops a new cut called "When I Feel Like it," featuring 2 Chainz, off his upcoming Loso's Way 2: The Rise To Power.

The dark and moody track was produced by David D.A. Doman. The Hair Weave Killer provides the last verse, and shows up on the hook, while Loso sets things offs. "The way it's shaped, they say it's fake/I can't lie, I still like it/No snitch, I can't tell, if it look real and then feel like it/She bend it over, I will hike it," spits Fab.

See, seems like the "Breath" rapper is a faux-booty advocate.

Fabolous' latest album, Loso's Way 2, was originally scheduled to drop on June 18. However, Fab recently revealed that it will now be dropping late July. Listen to "When I Fell Like It," off the aforementioned album, below.

Fabolous Pushes Back Loso’s Way 2 to July [VIDEO]

May 21, 2013 in News by Chris Thomas (@ChrisThomas266)

Fabolous has further delayed the release of his long-awaited album Loso's Way 2. The Brooklyn native connected with Rap-Up fresh off the stage from a L.A. show on his "The Life Is So Exciting Tour" to make the announcement.

"We actually pushed back a little bit. We needed to handle some technicalities," Fabolous explained. "We going to go about late July, I think either the 23rd or the 30th, but don't get me to lying."

This is unfortunate news for Fab's fans, but on a positive note, the "Ready" rapper divulged tidbits of information on what listeners can expect to hear on the project.

"Just a little bit of growth. I'ma give you what I do and some collaborations here and there, but definitely some evolution as an artist, as a man, as a father, as a friend," said Fabolous. "Just talking about some real sh-t and still doing what I do, giving you some witty lines, giving you some catchy stuff for the ladies. Just good music overall."

The album will feature collaborations with Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz, and Trey Songz, who was present during the interview.

Loso's Way 2 was originally slated to drop June 18 with Kanye West's Yeezus, Mac Miller's Watching Movies With The Sound Off and J. Cole's Born Sinner. Now that day will be less strenuous on your pockets.

Fabolous & Pusha T Perform In NYC [VIDEO]

April 28, 2013 in News by Alvin aqua Blanco (@aqua174)

Fabolous and Pusha T's Life Is So Exciting tour hit NYC on Friday (April 26) night. The two MCs held court at BB Kings Blues Club and delivered a well crafted show for their fans.

Reports VIBE:

The show was a homecoming of sorts for both the Brooklyn go-hard Fab and the Bronx-born Pusha. NYC fans piled in to see each rapper perform tracks from their latest mixtapes and promote the summertime release of their upcoming albums.

The night started off on a G.O.O.D. note with Pusha emphasizing every lyric to his Young Money diss track “Exodus.” His bible-themed onslaught continued as he performed “New God Flow” before delving into his latest project, Wrath of Caine.

His Rick Ross-assisted track “Millions” proved to be a fan-favorite of the night and the peak of Pusha's performance. “This that shit that ya'll wanted,” Pusha T rapped acapella. “This shit cook up hard, don't it? Ya'll gotta beg my pardon on it, but this shit sound like God, don't it?”

Additional performances of “Mercy,” “Blocka” and “Trust You” pleased spectators before Pusha packed up to do it all over again at the nearby St. John's University.

Fab also got busy, performing hits from his album and mixtapes while rocking a Jackie Robinson jersey.

The Life Is So Exciting tour runs until June when it finishes in Ontario.

Fabolous – “We Get High” [VIDEO]

April 23, 2013 in News by Alvin aqua Blanco (@aqua174)

Yeah, Fabolous missed the 4/20 Holiday window for this one, but that's neither here nor there. The Brooklyn rapper lets loose the video for "We Get High."

Loso spends the video for the song off of his The S.O.U.L. Tape 2 project either in the crib smoking or at a green dispensary spot taking a first hand looks at the plants while kicking his smooth rhymes. A couple of bad chicks make the visual more easy to inhale, besides the C Sick produced beats hypnotic production. You definitely don't need to be in that element to enjoy this one, but it surely could help.

Fab's proper new album, Loso's Way 2: Rise to Power, is in stores June 18 via Def Jam, and he recently dropped the the lead single's video for "Ready," featuring Chris Brown as well as model Jessica White.

Watch the Creative Key-directed video for "We Get High" below.

Bangin’ Candy: Sports Illustrated Model Jessica White [PHOTOS]

April 12, 2013 in News by Chris Thomas (@ChrisThomas266)

Fabolous switched up the flow in trailer for his Chris Brown-assisted single "Ready," opting to cast a tall, slender model rather than your conventional video vixen. This gorgeous young woman's name is Jessica White.

You may recognize her for one reason or another, as White has appeared in numerous publications, including the illustrious swim suit issue in Sports Illustrated and Maxim Magazine. She was also recruited at the ripe age of 13 from her hometown of Buffalo, NY, and has since earned her stripes in the modeling world.

Despite this, the long-legged, smokey eyed beauty has showed an affinity for music videos or the years. Her past efforts include Jay-Z's "Change Clothes" from The Black Album and Trey Songz's "Neighbors Know My Name" from his breakout project Ready.

The Maybelline spokeswoman and former Victoria's Secret model is also slated to receive her own reality show, which should be quite interesting. If you wonder why, please recall her antics as Terrell Owen's love interest on the now defunct The T.O. Show.

Nevertheless, White, like all of our previous Bangin' Candies, is tight work. Feast you eyes in the gallery below. Thank us later.

Red Café ft. Fabolous & Pusha T – “Boss Bxtches & Fast Cars” [LISTEN]

April 12, 2013 in News by Alvin aqua Blanco (@aqua174)

Remember when Red Café was supposed to drop an album? The jury is still out for that one but until then the Brooklyn rapper drops "Boss Bxtches & Fast Cars," the lead single from his forthcoming American Psycho II mixtape.

The Bad Boy rapper doesn't stay from his usual topic of choice, living life fast and bagging as many women as you can along the way. Fab and Push A Ton's verses also keep in line with the theme. The accompanying lyric video follows Red and his Shakedown crew (also watch out for the Akon cameo) going about their business performing in spots and drinking copious amounts of Ciroc.

"Boss b-tches and fast cars, look, I'm back stuntin' my @ss off/Got the drinks on ice, and the watch on ice, now them h0es feeling nice!," goes the song's hook.

The American Psycho II mixtape, download the first one right here, is supposed to drop in May followed by Red's proper album, Shakedown, in September. We ain't going to hold our breath on that one. .
